Commission A Painting

Size:

We need to establish your preferred size for your custom piece. I would be thrilled to help you decide on the best size for your special piece.

Pricing:

Due to the bespoke nature of a commission piece, their prices run between 10-40% higher than an already completed painting, depending on size, complexity and special requirements.

Deposit:

A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total price is required to begin the painting. The final balance, plus shipping will be paid once the painting has been completed but before being shipping / collection.

Initial Sketch and time scale:

I start with a few paint sketches and studies to map out the ideas I have in mind and ensure we are in agreement. Once this is confirmed, I proceed with the actual commissioned painting. I ask to allow between 4-8  weeks for the completion of your piece. If you do need the artwork to be completed by a certain date, please do let me know and I will do my best to accommodate it.

Progress:

During the creation of your commissioned piece, I will be in constant communication with regular updates and pictures / videos for approval. 

Delivery:

The work can be shipped rolled in tube, especially for larger pieces or shipped stretched on the canvas, but this will incur more cost. Pieces can also be collected should the collector wish to do so.

Amendments:

Please note big changes towards the completion of the artwork may incur addition costs (charged separately)

Refunds:

Due to the nature of note there are no returns or refunds on custom requested artworks
